Deathnote5pc

  • The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
  • This note will not take effect unless the writer has the subject’s face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
  • If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of writing the subject’s name, it will happen.
  • If the cause of death is not specified, the subject will simply die of a heart attack.
  • After writing the cause of death, the details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Wow! This is the reaction when i watch this Death Note otaku. I love it very much!

Was lim teh at a mamak shop when approach by dvd seller. Nothing to do, so bought Death Note 1. Went back and watch in on last Friday nite. Then straight, the next day i bought the earliest show at GSC for Death Note 2 - The Last Name. Superb awesome!!

To my amazed, this show gripped me till the end of the movie! The introduction of Shinigami (Death God) is so cool. When Ryuk appeared, with the background sound, perfect voice acting and said something like "Watashiwa Ryuk". It was like awesome.

Light Yagami (Kira)

The main character of Death Note, Light is a brilliant but bored 17-year old student. When he finds the Death Note dropped in the human world by Ryuk, a Shinigami, he decides to use it to kill all criminals, his ultimate goal being to cleanse the world of evil to create a utopia and to be the God of this new world.

Misa Amane

A girl with an immense crush on Kira. She is a popular idol in Japan, and tends to wear clothing in many different styles, depending on what she is doing. She is immature and has a tendency to refer to herself in the third person (calling herself "Misa-Misa") in an attempt to be cute. Misa is totally devoted to Light, and she once said that she loved him "at first sight". Light, however, only views her as an asset to his plans because of her Death Note and her "Shinigami Eyes" (that she obtained at the cost of half of her remaining life span). These "Shinigami Eyes" give Misa the ability to know people’s names by looking at their faces, thereby giving Kira an edge in his battle against his enemies. Misa read in the newspapers that the murderer of her family was punished by Kira, explaining her total devotion to him, regardless of whether she thinks of his actions as good or evil.

(I love this girl so much. So kawaiiii!! Real name -Toda Erika)

And now my favourite actor/character..

L

L is the world’s top-rated detective, tasked with tracking down and arresting Kira, and Light’s nemesis. His dishevelled appearance masks his great powers of deduction and insight. L has many quirks, such as sitting in an odd manner and snacking on sweets in the middle of meetings. He often takes drastic strategies to confuse and force his opponents, and on several occasions he has willingly disclosed several of his weaknesses to Kira at the risk of his own life in the hopes that he would lure him into a trap.

(He is so cool la. The weirdo who like to eat tonnes of sweet, chocolate etc, the way he hold the handphone, the way he sit and talk… so weird! One of a kind!!)

Ryuk

The original Shinigami who dropped the Death Note in the human world, which Light would pick up. Acting out of pure boredom, Ryuk begins the story of Death Note on a whim. Perhaps neutral by nature, Ryuk often refuses to aid Light and instead enjoys watching him struggle for his goal. The most important facet of Ryuk’s character is that he is not Light’s friend. He acts for his own interests and entertainment and often fails to tell Light key details about the Death Note. Ryuk is selfish, however, and will aid Light if it serves his own goals, such as providing amusement or obtaining apples.

Rem

The male Shinigami who first gives Misa his Death Note and "eyes." Similar to Ryuk, Rem possesses two Death Notes; however, he purposely gives a Death Note to Misa Amane. Rem inherited his second Death Note from Jealous and thought it only right to pass it on to Misa. Oddly enough, Rem inherits Jealous’ love for Misa as well and is prompt to defend Misa even at the cost of his life. He brings this to light when he openly shows his lack of trust for Light stating that if Misa dies before her time, Rem will kill Light thus ending his own life as well.

Well, this show is a ‘must watch’ movie for Anime fans. I am so hook to this that now, i am searching for the anime movies. Heard that it’s still being aired in Japan. The anime is a little different with the movie. There is Mello and Near.

For the last part in DN 2, there is a little confusing part. Why did L commit suicide? He only has 1 reason to suicide, that is to stop anyone from killing him within that 23 days, and thus giving him immunity to death within those time and able to catch kira. But misa can’t kill him, L knows that misa’s death note is fake so misa isnt even a threat. He didn’t predict Rem would have killed him because L said himself he is surprised that Raito would use Rem to kill him…

Anyway, some people told me that L suicided to convince Light’s dad to go along with his plan.Well according to the movie’s explanation at least. The dude didn’t believe L until L showed he was so convinced Light = Kira that he was willing to put his life on the line,in a literal sense.

But why to that extend? Why do he sacrified himself? Someone answer me this

Why to that extent, erm, cause he kinda figured Light was gonna do something but he couldn’t device a plan to catch Light by himself,he needed Light’s daddy and others to cooperate.Only be putting his life on the line did he convince them to do so.Why was he willing to give up his life?Well,I don’t know.Maybe he found great pleasure in solving his biggest case ever or he just wanted to stop Kira at all expense.

Kinda satisfied with the answer though. But not up the the par. Btw, i believed the anime it’s end that way. So must buy to watch la.

V3i review

Motorolav3i

The first impression I get to hold on Motorola V3i is that it’s a super slim elegant phone. The release of RAZR family started a new page of mobile phone history. It formed fashion for slim solutions. Its form factor is just the same as it predecessor, Motorola V3. New capabilities in software are added, the body colour is renewed, a memory card and a megapixel camera appear..

When flip close

What makes me falls in love with V3i is his Gun Metal colour and the body material is anodized aluminum, but the Motorola applied micro engraving to avoid doubts in that. When you touch the body, you can feel it, since the surface is rough. When the light falls on the body, you can also see divergent circles, which is also the result of the engraving.

The LCD front is only 65k STN screen and it fade in sun. Anyway, its still provide good info for incoming calls, message and etc. Camera wise, 1.23mp but duh, I seldom rely on a camera phone. When comes to taking photo, I still prefer my old faithful Sony T5.

Flip Open

Open the flip and the screen shows up to 262K colors. This TFT screen behaves well in the sun, the picture seen, and the text is readable. One common V3i user will face is the keypad-shaped prints on the screen, which is especially noticeable. Maybe the keypad is too close to the screen when flip down.  Anyway, I really love the blue liquid keypad design. There are some annoying buzzing sounds coming out from this keypad light but only can be heard inside a quite room or holding your phone close to your ears. According to Motorola, it’s normal and could not be exchange for warranty as it’s not a defect.

Extra

This phone utilize Mini SD slot. There is also mini usb on the left side of the phone thus charging phone is as easy as my ex O2 Mini. Just got to plug into any pc and it’s ready to charge. I must admit that the slim factor have disadvantages when comes to slim battery. It only last bout 2-3 days for normal calls and sms per full charge. Anyway, it doesn’t matter as I always plug it into my pc during working hours.

Function

Function wise, this phone has nothing to shout about. It’s a pretty standard phone. One thing though worth mentioning is the integrated Itunes. Anyway, it only holds music up to 100 songs eventhough there is still much memory capacity left. This is some sorts of restriction by Apple to protect their Ipods sales. There is actually two type of V3i. One with itunes and another is DAP version. The differences is of course the music player itself and another is Itunes version keypad comes with a music logo while DAP with message logo. Phonebook is also a let down as it doesn’t give an option to show either from sim card or phone. It shows both thus duplicated names appeared. I got to delete all my sim contact on this. Just hope that this phone doesn’t die out of sudden as all my phone number is stored in it.

Overview

The V3i is mostly a fashion solution. The main advantage of Motorola V3i is its design, but considering the popularity of the RAZR and its low price, this solution looks dubious at the current price. I had enough of phone function from O2 mini, P910i to 9300i thus looking for design is my X-factor now. Just want a simple phone that looks really nice.

Pros: Design, design and still design. Err, maybe Itunes too.

Cons: Buzzing sound from keypad light, phonebooks shows Sim and Phone.

PS: Did a flash on my V3i to read Chinese simplified using Monster Language pack, (previously only read Vietnamese language) and hack some of it features by using P2K Manager, RS Lite v3.2 and P2k Tools. Seem editing is hard as I still struggles to learn offset bit location and Hex editing.
